About Wind Energy Magazine

The wind energy industry is one the most rapidly growing renewable energy sectors worldwide. This is also the case in the Netherlands and Belgium. According to the Dutch wind energy association (NWEA) 700 MW will be added annually offshore and between 2023 and 2030 even 1 GW per year. Belgium is also showing ambitious plans. Sharing knowledge is the key to facilitate and achieve these ambitions. With the acquisition of former publishing house Lakerveld, including the title WindEnergie magazine, in Q4 2017, and, more recently, the news site Windenergienieuws.nl, publisher Vakbladen.com is building a strong news cluster for the wind energy sector. The wind cluster includes a magazine, 2 news sites and 2 newsletters. Each with its own focus and audience.

Under its new owner, Wind Energie magazine and online news platform www.windenergie-magazine.nl continue in English, as Wind Energy Magazine. The English written titles inform on the on,- and offshore wind energy developments in the Netherlands and Belgium and the role of these countries on the international wind energy market, both with the aim to share knowledge and improve cooperation.
