The opening rounds for the MOOI (Mission-driven Research, Development and Innovation) subsidy scheme have been extended with four weeks. This was announced by the RVO.
The decision follows consultation by the ministeries of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy and of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, RVO and Topsector Energie and is a response to the current Covid-19-crisis.
The MOOI subsidy scheme, with a budget of 65 million Euro, aims to help integral solutions that contribute to the energy transition enter the market more rapidly. Companies, knowledge centers and governmental bodies form consortia. The COVID-19 crisis is hindering the required matchmaking between players. The extension should provide more time to find the right partners and prepare the programme proposals.
The MOOI scheme is divided in 2 phases; a preliminary round and the final submission. The submission deadline for the preliminary round has now been extended from 20 April to 18 May 2020 5 PM. The final submission round opens on 4 August 2020 9 AM and closes on 6 October 2020 5 PM. The deadline for this round was initially 8 September 2020, 5 PM. The dates are subject to publication in the Government Gazette.
